I had a breast augmentation last Summer. I was terrified before hand so I spent months researching the process and looking into reputable clinics. I had heard all the usual horror stories and I've never been a fan of needles, operations or hospitals so this was not a decision I took lightly.

My breasts were a 38F and I'm 5' 4" so I was experiencing various physical problems due to the weight of my boobs pulling on my back and neck. Apart from the physical pain, I was suffering from really low self esteem because I hated the way I looked. I appeared fat and I tried to cover my breasts with baggy clothes that made me look frumpy. Having the op was definitely the best decision I ever made. I strongly recommend researching several surgeons first though. So many people jump in blindly and find out that they chose the wrong clinic the hard way.

I found my surgeon, http://www.stephenmcculley.co.uk/index.html through The Park Hospital in Nottingham and I cannot fault the care I got from start to finish. My life has changed completely and it was well worth all the time, effort and nerves. I'm now a 36C and I love my breasts. I never thought I'd say that but I do!
